Suzanne Scripps
Orginally from New York City, she received a BFA in Painting from Rhode Island School of Design in 1989. She has lived in Santa Fe since 1994 and in 2010 opened SCRIPPS FINE ART.
Her work includes oil paintings, watercolor paintings, and prints ranging from traditional representational stillife to expressionist landscapes, to graphic printed images. "No matter what my medium or subject matter, I believe all painting is simply about capturing a mood with light and color. I want to enhance certain aspects of the reality of a sceene and draw attention to their essential energy and beauty."
